Day Seven: Continued...

We finished our day out today by taking in the Dixie Stampede. The kids absolutely loved it. They got to eat with their fingers (including slurping their soup straight from their bowls--no silverware allowed!) while they watched a show full of horses, trick riders, ostriches, camels, chickens, pigs, mules, and sheep!

(Oh, in case anyone out there has noticed and wondered about it...the reason poor little Rayna is wearing the same red Dalmation Shirt day after day is because her silly mother neglected to PACK her any other long sleeve shirts! So, even though she has worn a new short-sleeved shirt each day, it has been covered with the same long sleeved shirt every day...layering her in good Chinese fashion!)
(During our trip to Illinois the week before this trip, I managed to miss packing socks for Doug and humiliated my poor son by making him wear MY socks. You would have thought I was making him wear my dresses the way he resisted and balked! Don't go feeling sorry for him...they were plain BLACK socks...nothing with flowers, frills, or pink lace. I didn't see what the big deal was, but he thought it was utterly humiliating and kept trying to sneak out without any socks on at all!)
