Thirty-nine years ago, in Mexico...

This is the photo Lisa and I worked on yesterday. We only had a copy of a copy to work with...and that copy was in pretty bad shape. We were really pleased with the final picture. Lisa is going to give it to her mother-in-law for Mother's Day. Lisa found the perfect frame and double mat for the 8x10 she printed of the new version.

The original picture was taken 39 years ago in Mexico. Ildiberta was 18 years old and Enrique was 21. They were on their second date. They eventually married. Enrique died at the age of 31, when his son was five years old.
