Well, salary negotiations are in progress. Even if SBU comes up in their offer, we are still looking at a really scary drop in income. But, then we knew that going into this process, so.... Grant will decide by Monday morning. In the meantime, we did go ahead and make an offer on a home in Bolivar before we left town Thursday...signing on all the dotted lines, but instructing our real estate person (whom we like a LOT!) not to date or process the offer until we call back and tell her Grant has accepted the job (and to shred it if Grant declines the job). I'm at work now, as I write these words, waiting for my shift to begin. Grant is at home waiting to hear the final outcome of the negotiations over the job. He is to find out this afternoon. We promised to let the real estate agent know by Monday. So, guess we will have committed one way or the other by Monday morning, anyway....
