First Grade Musical:
On election night, Rayna and about 200 other first graders from Bolivar Elementary School put on quite a musical...Frog and Toad through the Seasons! Each year each grade has their own musical program. I am always amazed at how cute the programs are. Their music teacher does an excellent job putting the programs together!...and the kids all really practice hard! It still blows my mind that there are NINE first grade classes at this school. We may have moved to a small town last year, but the schools here are about four times as large as the schools we had in our former suburb of Kansas City.

School musicals are always fun especially at that age. Nine first grade classes - wow - that is a lot of kids. Are all the grades that big?
Wow, that is one enormous first grade. Miss Rayna is beautiful and spunky as usual!
Thank you, Vicki!
And, yes, Nadine, ALL the grades are that large. Each school has three grade levels in it and over 600 students. Of course, as luck would have it, I have three children in three different schools! Their ages are spread out just enough that none of them will EVER be in the same school! A bit inconvenient...especially when the middle school (Darcy's) is on the opposite side of town from the Grade school and the Intermediate school!
