Making a Fashion Statement:
Here we have Aaron making QUITE the FASHION STATEMENT! He is sporting this season's blues, reds, greens, and yellows on his face as he wears the latest in hospital attire fashions! Grandma C accessorized his ensemble with a traditional wet washrag head covering. And, to formalize the look, Aaron is wearing a very classy neck brace and contrasting body brace. Finally, the piece de resistance is the classy gait belt jauntily wrapped about his midsection. Only a small percentage of patients are allowed this elaborate of attire!
Yes...my nephew, Aaron, is out of the hospital!!! He was released yesterday evening from University Hospital in Columbia. His folks and his older brother drove him back to KC to his grandparent's home where he will be recouperating before returning to school in Rolla or his home in Texas. It is good to have him here where we can heckle him again. We are just so thankful that he was wearing his seatbelt when the accident happened. He was telling me this morning that as he came around a bend, there was a car stopped in his lane. He swerved to keep from hitting the car. Evidently, as he tried to steer his car's wheels back onto the pavement, the car flipped.
Aaron was already commenting this morning that he was going to be needing a new car. I suggested one with a roll cage in it...or a tank...something SAFE!
