Rayna and Doug Exploring the Waters of Dunnegan Park

Rayna and Doug exploring Dunnegan Park together (walking distance from our home). The day this photo was taken (a week ago), Rayna found a bunch of frog eggs and she was so excited about her discovery! The week before, the kids had found one of the park's ducks sitting on an egg. They were really careful not to disturb her. Later, that same day, when they walked back by that area, the duck had left for a swim and they got to peer down at the large lone egg she had been sitting on. We were really sad to see on our return trip a few days later that the egg was gone. We've never seen ducklings there...guess there just isn't any place out of the public reach for the ducks to hatch their eggs.

There is always something new to find at our lovely park! The kids have a great time there!
